article is quite vague.  while we're seeing a lot of recovery, i don't know about "Full".  Gonna say this prediction was mostly right but not fully.

Here are some to consider:

Charles Schwab (NYSE: SCHW)
This savings and loan holding company could benefit from higher interest rates. While other banks tend to hurt when interest rates rise, Charles Schwab is primarily a loan holding company, and as such, can increase its margins as interest rates rise. The stock is already up 8.81% year to date. 

Micron Technology Inc. (NASDAQ: MU)
Micron Technology builds SSDs and digital memory products for enterprise and server systems along with smartphones and mobile devices. The company has a significant customer base in the automotive industry, and as supply chains ease, they should benefit from additional demand for their products. Inflation tends to hit suppliers less than those selling directly to end-users, and Micron can continue to grow its business despite inflation. 

Vulcan Materials (NYSE: VMC)
The company that provides materials for infrastructure and construction projects with a specific focus on aggregates, asphalt, concrete, and calcium is another where their business is strongly tied to commodities over market activity. With an infrastructure bill already passed, there will be demand for services, and an increase in wages due to inflation will be offset by decreasing supply chain constraints. 

Diamondback Energy (NASDAQ: FANG)
After doubling its stock price over the last year, Diamondback is already up over 17% in the first three weeks of 2022. Energy prices continue to rise, and as an international market, inflation has a minimal impact on prices. There are many concerns about oil supply with issues in Iraq, Russia, Kazakhstan, Libya, and the UAE.

Interesting.  It might also be caused by me.  Everytime I sell a stock, it tends to go up 🤪

- Passive investors “never” sell.  - -Required minimum distributions (RMDs) could be the cause of December volatility.
- despite the fed’s talk of ending quantitative easing, they have shown a backbone made of wet spaghetti. If equity markets plummet along with growth expectations in 2022, the Fed could eliminate its taper plans, abandon higher rates and even add stimulus. Fed governors own and trade equities, and they use their powers to preserve their own wealth. Therefore, even in the face of RMDs, slowing growth and rising interest rates, equity markets may still increase in 2022.

I’m not convinced of the above and still believe in a hedged strategy, but there will certainly be opportunities in this volatility.  I’m a long term investor anyway.

Stable businesses in the value sector .  I like MercadoLibre, Adobe, Shopify, etc but haven’t added to my positions yet.  I think the new year will still start with a bang
