Let’s take a look at potentially underpriced stocks with high growth potential from the S&P Mid Cap 400. The Mid Cap index has outperformed the wider S&P 500, losing 9.9% so far this year compared to 12.6%.
Specifically, I will be looking for stocks with the following criteria:
• Mid-cap company.
• Forward P/E ratio below 20.
• Buy ratings from over 90% of Wall Street Analysts.
• Target price with implied upside over 20%.
• Negative performance year to date.
• Expected to grow its earnings per share by at least 5% in both of the next two years.
