Prediction: Apple TV breaks into top 5 for US Streaming Market Share.  In Q3 they were a distant 7th: Netflix 27% market share, Amazon Prime Video (21%), Disney+ (14%), Hulu (13%), HBO Max (10%), Apple TV+ (4%), Showtime (2%)

This has gotten really close, but even if you consider Disney and Hulu as one (can’t yet technically), my prediction most likely failed again in 2023 😔 (paramount slightly ahead). 

For the US, looking at the numbers, the ranking remained pretty much the same as before, but there was a slight positive variation for most of the streaming platforms. Amazon Prime Video remains in first place with 22% of the market share (1% more than last quarter), while Netflix follows close behind with 21%.

Paramount+ and Apple TV+ also grew by 1% each, while Hulu and Warner’s Max retained the same market share as the previous quarter. Disney+ was the only major streaming platform to lose 1% of its market share in the quarter.

I think it finally broke me when I tried to watch Sonic on Amazon Prime but you actually need Paramount+.
The days of value for money are over.
