Moscow indicated its readiness for nuclear confrontation following Ukraine's permission to attack Russian territory, which Ukraine quickly acted on using U.S.-made long-range missiles. After receiving approval from Washington, Ukraine reportedly launched ATACMS missiles against a Russian military facility in the Bryansk region, which Russia confirmed. The Russian Ministry of Defense stated that while five of the six missiles were intercepted, debris from the attack caused a fire at the facility but resulted in no casualties or significant damage.

A very interesting proposal indeed. Russia keeps whatever they have occupied in Donetsk and Luhansk Oblasts and wants more of that territory. However, Ukraine gets access to Crimea, which means Putin is willing to cede parts of Southern Ukraine.
