Prediction: Shopify stock will have a just okay year due to impossibly difficult comps. This will be seen as an incredible buying opp a few years from now.

Talking my own book, but I think the JD model of China import and export collaboration could be replicated by other major e-commerce platforms outside of the US (eg Rakuten in Japan). Shopify’s network effects have an incredible gravitational pull at this point, that will keep lengthening the distance between them and their competitors for years
