Temu and Shein on Friday steeply raised prices on Chinese imports, as both had warned last week they would do, lifting the price of one dress available on Shein to $21.49 from $12.07 a few weeks ago. Shein and Temu separately told U.S. shoppers this week that they plan to raise prices starting April 25, blaming “recent changes in global trade rules and tariffs.”    The China-founded online bargain sellers are facing the end of a U.S. trade provision known as de minimis, which they had used to ship goods to shoppers without paying tariffs.
